The Coorg lies in the district of Karnataka. Currently, the official name of Coorg is now Kodagu. This beautiful landscape is spread over an area of 4,102 sq km. The beautiful landscape with the blend of nature, greenery, waterfalls and several other amusing destinations makes the place a clear choice for tourist to visit here.

The town is ancient and consists of several landmarks which are known as the best structures of all time. The town is spread over an area of 29 sq km and most of the structures are built in open space. Badami is an ancient Indian heritage structure that was founded around the 6th century. Badami is the amalgamation of temples, caves, lake and other various stone-cave complexes. The primary Badami Cave Temple is divided into four parts. Cave one has idols of Hindu Gods, the second cave is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and other Hindu Gods. The third cave is also dedicated to Lord Vishnu and it is also observed and examined that this cave is the largest in terms of size. Whereas the fourth cave is dedicated to Jainism. All these caves contain idols and images of Hindu and Jain Gods. Some other popular attractions from Badami are Lake Agastya, Bhutanatha temple complex, Yellamma temple at Badami, etc.

Madurai|Tamil Nadu

Madurai is a city present in the state of Tamil Nadu. The city is popular for the gathering of its Tamil citizen which is known as Tamil Sangam. Madurai is also famous for its ancient monuments and temples. There are several ancient temples which are dedicated to Lord Vishnu from Hindu mythology. One of the most famous and historic temples is the Meenakshi Temple. The structure and intricate architecture of the Meenakshi temple are just mesmerizing to see. This small town sits near to river Peena and the entire landscape looks entirely stunning and beautiful. Rameshwaram and Dhanushkondi|Tamil Nadu

Rameshwaram and Dhanushkondi share an important place in the epic of Ramayana, the story of Lord Rama. Dhanushkondi is the place which is at the bottom line of Pamban Island and the bridge or series of the island which links directly to Sri Lanka. Lord Rama built the bridge called “Ram Setu” or “Adam’s Bridge” Well, in the year 1964, the town of Dhanushkondi was destroyed due to the cyclone which left the town abandoned till now. But now the place is open for all. Whereas Rameshwaram is a town in Tamil Nadu, the distance between Rameshwaram and Dhanushkondi is only 16 km. Rameshwaram is also a Hindu pilgrimage site, the Ramanathaswamy temple is quite a famous one. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and it was built somewhere near 12th century. One should definitely visit the site as it is one of the best places to visit in South India.

Kudremukh|Karnataka

The Kudremukh is the perfect place to visit in South India in May. It is a mountain range which is present in the state of Karnataka. If you like to do trekking, bike-ridding and explore the mountain region then this might be the perfect place for you. The structure of mountains presents here looks like a horse face and the word Kudremukha translate into “horse-face”. Take a day off from the hectic schedule of work and enjoy the beauty of nature. Araku Valley|Andhra Pradesh

Araku Valley is also famous for its coffee plantation. The local farmers grew the coffee plant in these valleys for income and simultaneously it also increases the tourism aspect of the valley.
